  • How do I post a new message?

    • To post a new message to The Telephony Forum, click on "Post A Message", complete the form and then click on "Post Message". You will then be given confirmation of your posting and message contents. Your new message will appear at the top of the message list showing your message title and date of posting.

    • To reply to any of the messages listed, click on the message title you wish to reply to and complete the reply form. Your reply will appear directly below the message you have replied to in the forum.

  • Can I include URL links in my messages?

    • Yes. Simply enter the URL and a URL title in the boxes provided on the "Post A Message" form when you submit a new message.

  • My message did not appear, why?

    • Your message should appear instantly in the forum. If it does not, click on your browsers REFRESH or RELOAD button. This will reload the page and your new message will appear.

  • How do I Register and create a Member Profile?

    • Simply click on Register and complete the Registration & Member Profile Form. Click on Member Profiles to see the latest additions.

  • Can I advertise equipment for sale?

    • Yes, as long as the equipment you are advertising is directly related to the Telephony industry. Always remember to include an asking price in your advertisement.

  • Can I advertise commercial products / services?

    • Yes, as long as the services or products you are advertising are directly related to the Telephony industry. However, multiple messages posted over a short period of time which simply advertise a companies products or services will be deleted. (Remember, this is a discussion forum).

  • Is the Forum monitored or moderated in any way?

    • The only monitoring we do is to look-out for SPAM, or visitors who try to flood the Forum with irrelevant material. Fortunately this rarely happens so very little monitoring needs to be done.
